Phase 1 status
Automated Google Meet creation and recording retrieval are not active in this release.
Before recording
The student and tutor must be informed that recording is enabled, why it is required, who can access it and how long it will be retained. Required consent must be stored.
Permitted purpose
Approved recordings may support student review, mentor quality, dispute resolution or learning continuity. They must not be published or reused for marketing without separate permission.
Access
Only the authorised student, assigned tutor and approved administrative roles should receive access. Access should be removed when no longer required or when the related programme entitlement ends.
Retention and deletion
The organisation must approve a retention period and deletion process before recording is activated. Access and administrative actions should be logged.
